Tooth-Colored Restorations

Have you ever broken a tooth? If it was a back tooth, chances are it had a silver/amalgam filling in it. Dentists have even referred to those large silver/amalgam fillings as temporary crowns, because it was usually only a matter of time before the tooth needed a crown. That is one of the main reasons we do not use silver/amalgam in our office. We feel there are better materials available now that do not create cracks in the teeth, that are not controversial, and that actually look good. Ask us about your options.

Dental implants are a restorative dentistry option that allows patients to replace missing teeth with ones that look, feel, and perform like natural teeth. They are the most effective, predictable, and longest-lasting option to replace one or multiple missing teeth. Unlike a bridge, the implant allows us to treat only the tooth that needs to be treated; there is no need to involve other healthy teeth in the restoration of the unhealthy tooth.
